You know, I've saved lives. Dozens. Maybe hundreds. I reattached a girl's leg. Her whole leg. She named her hamster after me. I got a hamster. He drops a box of money, he gets a town.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

San Francisco! Especially if I get a place in the lower Haight or in the Castro. Much fun.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Heh. j, we can't bogart all the F2Fs. We have the big honker in May.

Unfortunately for me, it doesn't matter where. I've already promised my son I'd come out to Phoenix in late January. There might actually be a wedding this time.

The status is NOT quo.

I wouldn't mind San Fran or Seattle...Florida might be a bit far...maybe we SHOULD do it in LA.

Atlanta! World's biggest aquarium. World's biggest piece of exposed granite. World's busiest airport (and therefore pretty cheap flights). I have a guest room and two comfy couches.

Our wings are not tired.

I've been watching the aquarium reports. It looks wonderous.

I'm waiting for the crowds to go down, but I want to see it fairly soon, if only for the otters and penguins.

Otters!

Wonders if driving down could be in the cards.

Just for future reference, there is actually a whole country more than 2,000 miles wide between the two coasts.

Matt, please don't be like that. This isn't an official F2F; we're just tossing ideas around for an informal get together. I would rather get out of the city (and Memphis, for example, would be a cool suggestion), which is why I'd asked if anyone had any ideas. There is no slight intended to anywhere else in the country; I only reverted to maybe we should have it in LA because I was thinking logistics about where we have people willing to host and places big enough to gather. Basically, my comment was because I was thinking I didn't want to foist the burden on someone else since I'd been the one to bring it up today.

Your comment made me feel stupid and petty, which is the last thing I'd intended.

ETA: And also, I didn't see your edited comment about coming to Memphis until after I'd posted my response to the others, which is why I didn't mention it. I didn't actually see it until I went back and reread now, hours later.
