I'm still way curious to see it.

You'll get to drive through some of it from the airport.

Oh, it's definitely impressive and worth at least one trip through. It's just that every few weeks there's some bit of news about something going wrong where you think "Nope, still not quite really done yet, is it?"

eta At least the above ground roadways aren't changing every few days. And if you ever saw the old Boston Garden, with the elevated T and highway, wow, is that whole area different.

Last time I was in Boston was so long ago, the Big Dig was still a twinkle in someone's eye.

You will be surprised how little has changed, beside that.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Dude. The Copley's still there, right?

Man. Long, long time....

The whole Copley Square area hasn't changed much at all.

Signed,
Been working there for almost 20 years (yikes!)

Depending on how long ago deb was last there, I think Copley Place would be the only major addition. However, Centenial Place (Is that the name? Anyway, the tall building that went in near the Common) is a major change to the skyline (and the Zakim bridge, of course). I'm trying to think what else. The shopping area of the Pru is no longer an eyesore, though it hasn't done much for the building itself. Some places have been really nicely restored (I'm thinking of the Opera House, primarily). The Combat Zone is non-existent. And even though Fenway Park hasn't changed much, Kenmore Square would probably be near-unrecognizable.

We'll drive over it from the airport to my house.
