Nora, if it turns out to be cheaper to fly into Memphis (my Boston round trip flights tend to $220 or so), I'd be happy to give you and Tom a ride down from there.
F2F 3: Who's Bringing the Guacamole?
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!
Alas, I can no do PayPal. Mr. H used my credit card to set his up and I don't know the password, and of course they won't let 2 people on the same card, or let the same card be used for 2 seperate accounts, so mailing a check it will likely be.
You know, I don't think it's the airfare and the hotel that's going to kill me, it's the food. That said, I'm not even sure I'll be able to make the F2F and I was so looking forward to it. But between Christmas and my property taxes, all my spare money is gone. My next couple of bonus checks are going to have to be banked for mid-year taxes, I just can't see swinging it right now. Hopefully, as the F2F comes closer I'll see a light at the end of the tunnel and maybe be able to scrape enough up to sit outside the plane on the horizontal stabilizer. I'll hope for good weather.
Heather, a check is fine too. When you are ready to send it to me, ping me via email and I'll give you my snail mail.
ION, WANT SailAweigh and Nora and Tom to come! WANT!

May I interrupt to say that this is one of my favorite pictures from May? I'm not completely sure why, other than the company, the panda head, and the completely nonplussed looks.
SA, I love that picture. I love simultaneously wondering and also not wanting to know how Sean got all soaked too.
Edit: Oo! And SLUUUT.
(That's sweat, my dear. Sean worked his ass that evening.)
(Hee...yep, I know...but boy is it fun to cast doubts on how else it might have happened!)
Quick Question: What is a Muffaletta?
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
