The 5 didn't include me, right? Just wanted to double-check as I'll be elsewhere. By the way what time does the showing start & finish so i know when i can ring Jilli to see if there's still time to do any other socializing.
F2F 3: Who's Bringing the Guacamole?
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!
Tickets booked. 5th row.
squeeeeee!
Not including you, much to my dismay.
Me, Jilli, Kristin, my sister and Joe. Princess will be on laps.
Movie at 7, although getting there at 6:30 allows for us to see the organ player and hear all the gothy music. And if they do what they normally do and show "Franken Wienie" and "Vincent", then I'd say we'll be out around 9.
Hmm. I expect my meal will run past 9 since we're not even meeting to go off to the meal til 7:30.
I guess I will just ring when we're done.
A question for those of you who are kindly carting me around to various gothy places: would it be worth my time to try and check out Sometimes Madness is Wisdom (3208 W. Sunset Blvd.)? They're listed on lagoth.com as someplace w/ "vintage reproduction women's clothing, hats & accessories, custom corsets, antique furniture & chandeliers, art books, jarred animal specimens, antique medical tools and charts, and assorted oddities that might strike your fancy."
I won't be able to make Roscoe's Friday night because I'm seeing a friend who's in town for a brief visit, but 9 pm is after the kids' bedtime anyway. Phooey.
Maybe we can make something happen on Sunday or Thursday.
Burrell, I think Thursday is your best bet by far.
Burrell, any chance you could also pick them up at LAX? Then you could have a night of it--pick up and dinner--and I can see them on Friday. I really should go to the foolish CPR thing tomorrow, much as I don't want to, and I believe ND was going to have to squeeze in the airport pickup anyway since he's working crazy hours this month.
I will mention that we have a carry-on each and 2 full-sized pieces of luggage. We're not travelling light, and I have no idea what the capacity of any of your cars are. Just an FYI, because it's the little things (like physical reality) that can be so easily overlooked in these arrangements... : P
I thought about offering to p/u because it would make the most sense, but I need to check with my DH first as it will involve someone watching the kids and removing the car seats from the car. Let me check with him before I commit to it.
