I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

How early would we have to get to the smaller place to get a table, do you think?

Meh. Not sure, and they're in the middle of lunch rush, so they're not very communicative right now.

Dreamhaven Books (of Neil Gaiman fame) is just down the street and will be open at 10, so it's not like it will be a hardship for some people to wander in and out, but I just want to make sure we all get to sit together and whatnot.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Dan and I have not really discussed budget (other than Yay! lower gas prices, and Yay! fuel-efficency car repairs) for the upcoming portion of the month, so I was voting cheap on principle rather than knowledge.

Y'all realize I haven't the faintest idea what to get him for his birthday, and it's on Monday! Ok, I did threaten him with some shirts that would be more to my taste that what he wears, but that's not the world's greatest prezzie, really.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I've been to the BBQ place too, and love it, and also don't consider $16 a head all that expensive, so that would be grand, but I would also be happy going cheaper.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Also, how would Kristin and Jilli feel about Em being with us for the movie? I want to ask first before we just bring her.

So I can hold her on my lap and sing "This is Halloween" at her? I'm just fine with Em being with us!

Is there any chance at all of the Friday night Roscoe's being later? Please please please? I'm due to get away from the theatre at 8:30ish and would really love to dine with folks.

9PM at Roscoe's, and Drew can meet us there? Because later than that for food and Pete and I will become incoherent, not-fun creatures due to low blood sugar.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

That's what I was worried about. I didn't want to witness another bout of Jilli sitting somewhere and pointing out things like "car" and "bunny" and "pretty".

Ok, I have also just confirmed (she PROMISED) that the Roscoe's in Hollywood - on Pico and LaBrea - DOES have mac n cheese on Friday nights. Also, they are open sooper late. So instead of trekking halfway to hell and back, let's go to that one instead. 9pm. Roscoe's. Pico and LaBrea. Mac and cheese.

If that is cool with everyone.

**edited to not sound so damned bossy! Sheesh. What is she? An Empress or something??**

Mac & Cheese? Nuh-uh. Jilli is craving the chicken & waffles. Me, can't eat cheese. Don't think I'll risk the battered chicken livers again tho'...

Anyway, we have exceptional M & C up in our neck of the woods thanks to Whole Foods.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

They always have chicken and waffles. But the mac and cheese is an optional item, and for many/some folks it's a big plus.

Sorry, wasn't clear. ita is clearer. Plus, I believe the Pico location would be easier to get to for more people. Pasadena is pretty far out there.

t forgot not everyone craves the M&C like ita and me.

Oh, I guessed that the chicken & waffles would always be available, after all it's their signature dish. I just meant that the M&C was not an extra draw for the two fo us. Though, I can see Jilli being interested in it as a side.
