Yes. Men like sports. Men watch the action movie, they eat of the beef, and enjoy to look at the bosoms. A thousand years of avenging our wrongs and that's all you've learned?

BWAH. You obviously haven't met my mom. She's silly. Civilized is not necessary.

She'd also love to meet you.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Jealous of November LAage.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

it's beginning to look as though I may be in Boston the weekend of 9 December.

Yay, Deb!

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Random planning bits & things for the upcoming L.A. visit:

- Does anyone want to go to dinner on Thursday night, after Pete & I get into town?

- Drew, are you still good for being my native guide & shopping buddy on Friday? I’d like to hit Shrine, Necromance, Black Broom, and Trashy Lingerie, if possible. I’m assuming I should go w/ Pete to the event and help him set up, and then meet up w/ you midday-ish?

Other vague plan-ish notions:

- I NEED to go to Roscoe’s for chicken and waffles. NEED, I tell you. I don’t care when.

- Pete is going to dinner on Saturday w/ the other artists & event staff. I’ve mostly decided that I don’t want to tag along, so who wants to claim me for dinner?

- On Sunday, if someone could take me to Dark Delicacies around 4PM, I would be very grateful. Yes, I want to meet Lorraine n' Malena and buy a signed CD.

- Who all is going to Disneyland w/ us on Monday, and should someone look into getting tickets before-hand?

… y’know, I’m sure there were other things on this list in my head.

Jilli-I don't want to monopolize you, but I am free much of the time you are going to be here. If you need a ride or company at any point, just give me a call. I shall email you my cell phone.

Does anyone want to go to dinner on Thursday night, after Pete & I get into town?

I could do a late dinner, but I'm stuck in a CPR class until 7 or something evil like that. You may not want to have an 8PM dinner. If no one else is free, however, I'd be happy to meet you.

I can't speak for Drew, but I'd love to join if you are going to be shopping and playing. I'll be at work at 2:45 and will be free that whole night.

Aimee and I had talked about stealing you...Aimee? Plan?

Again, if you need a ride, let me know.

I am going. I also have a AAA membership and could buy cheaper tickets ahead of time if people wanted to PayPal me.

Again, not trying to be all Kristin all the time. Just that you happened to hit on the first weekend I actually have "free" in weeks. Let me know.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I say we steal her for a dinner at either Mel's Diner or Hamburger Hamlet and then catch an early-ish showing of Nightmare Before Christmas. I just checked - there's a 7pm showing.

I'm delighted that we'll manage to be there for one of your first non-busy weekends!

This sounds like a good plan to me. Okay, any plan involving a showing of Nightmare Before Christmas automagically is a good plan to me, but still!

Jilli, where are you staying, where will you be Saturday, when shall we pick you up/meet you?

Also, we are available for dinner Thursday, Friday, whenever. Roscoe's could be done on Sunday in Pasadena (they have the mac n cheese there).
