Because books.

::fans self::

This sounds like a much better Christmas party than any I've ever attended, I can tell you that.

Our wings are not tired

Sounds like a good reason to come out and attend.

Because books.

Boy, do I ever wish. May's going to be the earliest, though, unless I hit the lottery big.

And even then the kids might object to Mommy being away and having naughty fun with Santa's sack...

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

So! Pete & I will be in L.A. as of next Thursday. He will be stuck at the convention center from 10AM - 6PM on Friday, Saturday, and until 4PM on Sunday.

We'd like to see folks, obviously. Plus, I'd be very grateful if some kind person (or peoples) would take me to various places of gothy interest. And then, Disneyland on Monday.

Who's doing what next weekend? Is this too early to start trying to figure out plans?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

We'll be around. Other than working on Friday and Monday, we are open for whatever, wherever. Personally, I can't wait to see youse again!

And what kind of Gothy Interst?

Also, one of those evenings, we could reserve seats for a late showing of Nightmare Before Christmas at the El Capitan.

"I've got a gun! I've got a mother-flippin' gun!" - Moss, The IT Crowd

Well, Jilli's looking for tour guides & fellow crazed shoppers. I'm looking to see who miht want to hang out with me at my signing stalag and help me with sales. I know, how exciting, huh?

As for the late night Nightmare showing, I don't see that as working for me as I'm going to have to be up at stoopid 8am every day to make sure I have eaten enough before facing the signing. Then, Monday - the 31st, it'll probably be an early start to Disneyland.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Well, it doesn't HAVE to be that late night showing. They have them all day. We could take Jilli on Saturday while you are at the Convention Center, unless she wants to be there with you.

There's a Sephora there and near Melrose which has all the funky thrift shops.

Or, ya know, not.

I was just kind of hoping to see the little goth-lets staring in wonder at Jilli. Hee hee hee.
