Oh, smacked in the noggin with a 2x4 wrapped in velvet. Yeah, that's what it felt like.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Anyone have any good tattoo websites I can check out? I want to get some ideas of what to get next. I know I want a sea horse as one, just haven't decided where. For another, I want to turn the shooting star on my ankle into the dangle off an ankelet. But I need ideas of what I think would actually look good.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Sail - search for "tattoo flash"...

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Like Maidengurl said (and to embellish on it a bit), google image-search on 'tattoo + [design]' with whatever the design is, like 'tattoo + "sea horse" '.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Thanks, Cashmere & Fred Pete! I'm in my ol' hometown -- went through Indy, and it was all fine. We ended up going straight through both towns, because the trip was timed really well to be not commute times. So that worked out. Heading back on Sunday, so no commutes then, either.

Buffistas are very handy.

Hey L.A.-istas? What's the weather been like for you folks?

Jilli, we've been having bouts of nice cool weather, punctuated by two days of HOTT. So, the Magic 8-Ball says "Ask Again Later."

(We'll have a better idea closer to the weekend)

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Right now, just back from Kristin's party. It's raining, and cold.

It's also in LA.

Huh.

What's it doing in Minneapolis?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

What's it doing in Minneapolis?

It's flippin' cold out here.

The natives think it's lovely, bright, mild autumn weather. Current temp is 38 degrees, high earlier was 65.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Don't believe the stories, Deb. It does rain in Southern California. It also drizzles. I felt a little betrayed when it did it repeatedly.

Heh. Debet, that's why I said "huh"; it always seems to give me at least one cold damp evening when I'm in LA. Hand of fate and whatnot.

We're off to wander today. Probably not out usual PCH drive to Newport Beach, although I have a mild jones for seafood.

Andi, I'm going to need to buy a couple of sweaters for Halloween, then. But maybe I'll wait and do it there, what with them having that nice Last Call downtown...
