F2F 3: Who's Bringing the Guacamole?
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!
Juliana:
It'll probably be too cold and/or windy for a picnic - do you have any preference on where we hang out? There is a Mall of America run happening at some point, so we could meet there, or we could meet in Uptown, very close to where the tattoos are being gotten (and they do need to be gotten on Saturday - that's our only window).Ok, Daniel, what do you think? I can probably handle MoA, but how bad would the drive-time be from Uptown?
I think, if I got a tattoo it would have to be a lizard of some sort.
Nicole, that sounds...challenging.
I wanna see the pic of perkins tattoo too..too.
Insent, Deena, and Beverly.
Goregous! And backflung, with thanks.
But - aren't tattoo parlors usually lit up like the inside of a 7-11?
Ah, you make a good point. I've never been in one, but well-lighted would be most reassuring.
I look forward to seeing pictures of all this, you all. Or, I guess in May, I get live and in person. Cool.
I'll have to get a temporary tattoo with you guys.
Ooh. I might ask to horn in on that action, if I may.
I think that DX posted it elsewhere, but I just had to say in the F2F thread that I am so very happy that Cafe Du Monde is set to reopen.
That is very good news, Kristin! It's a national treasure, AFAIC.
I'll have to get a temporary tattoo with you guys.
This I could go for. I have both needle fear and hating it tomorrow fear. It's not going to happen for me. Temporary is fun though. A turtle for sure.
Hey L.A.-istas? What's the weather been like for you folks? Seattle has been gloriously autumn-like (chilly, overcast), but I need to know if I should drag out my lightweight VictorianGothwear for the trip at the end of the month.
