Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!

YAY!
Should we think about dinner before the reading? At some point, happy to cook, if juliana and Z would like that and let me, but I'm thinking the Saturday would be better - the signing has time constraints, and I hate rushing when I'm cooking.
You are welcome to cook, but yes, Saturday would probably be better.
What would people be up for in the way of fooding?
For me, eating out? Avoiding Asian (including Thai and Indian) is my best move. I can't digest it anymore, and me and Thai, like me and sushi, do not love each other.
addendum - although whatever it was that E cooked for us, when Jess and I came back from DC? that was gorgeous and uncontentious, and went down great.
From the information on the LJ page, it looks like I have the same incoming flight as Jess.
Nice!
I just got back from a weeklong business trip to Minneapolis where I stayed at the Millenium! It was perfectly nice, not fancy but comfortable and near all sorts of cool stuff.
Ack! Now Tom Scola's going to be there too.
t kicks stoopid work
I drive 90 miles roundtrip every (week)day.
Mine is 160 miles per day. Does that mean that I win the competition, or lose?
Ha. Matt, I happily concede any title I may have won to you. (Also, my sympathies!)
Hey, Deena, Cashmere -- do you happen to know what the quickest/easiest way would be to go from Chicago to Zanesville? I'm thinking 30 to 23 then 670 around to 70? Or 80 then down 77? Or back through Indpls, 65 to 70?
Hmm. It's a shame, though, each of those ways would take me near one of you, but we'll have a buddy with us and I dunno if we'd be able to coordinate a stop. Tomorrow, btw.
