F2F 3: Who's Bringing the Guacamole?
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!
For those who couldn't join us, I humbly offer the most incredible pictures I could procure.
Triple Threat Birthday Party
It was a truly memorable birthday party. I thank Deb and Nic from the bottom of my heart for hosting it. The food was, as usual, scrumptious beyond belief. We had hugs, laughter, songs and smiles. I finally got to meet Aimee and Em, who are delightful and had the good taste to admire my shoes. Kristin, we definitely need to go shoe shopping together! Melrose look out. It was wonderful to see everyone and I can barely wait for next May. So much more I could say, but it would take me until after breakfast tomorrow to describe everything I adored about tonight (I *heart* Emmett), so I'll stop now and leave you to enjoy the pictures!
More pics from the party are HERE!
Asleep on feet, reminding self to make reservations for (I count) six fort Angelino.
Picture about which there is kitty question, kitty in question looks to be Gadabout, judging by the freaky ear thing. Both my other black ones have normal ears.
Thanks everyone for coming today - it really was a nice party, wasn't it?
And no one has mentioned the two desserts....
It really was Deb.
The desserts were great, and I would love the recipe for the cinnamon cake. (I think it's better that I not have the one for the chocolate one.)
Thanks everyone for coming today - it really was a nice party, wasn't it?
Hell yes!
And no one has mentioned the two desserts....
Only because we haven't quite recovered yet. Seriously. All other desserts pale in comparison. The chapeau noir was... how should I say... beyond fucking belief? Maidengurl and I were discussing it outside and wondering how it could be so damn rich and still not deter even those (freaks) that don't care for rich desserts from taking another bite. And another. And another.
Truly decadent.
The cinnamon cake was also to die for. Not in the same way as the chapeau noir but only because, for me, chocolate (especially such 'holy crap, this is amazing' chocolate) stands alone. Totally different emotions for the two.
What a great night! Thank you, to all who came out and played and a special thank you to Deb and Nic for opening their home to us. Due to chatting, I missed most of the jam sessions and only now know that Deb played and sang a bit, thanks to the photographic evidence. I'd like to request an encore performance before I leave for Denver.
Oh my yes, K-Bug and I shared our dessert, that chocolate was killer, absolutely killer and we totally adored the cinnamon.
Ooh, Nicole's up. We could go be evil and force the other two to be awake.
I don't have to be quiet anymore? Yay!
Did you say evil? I can do that. Definitely.
Good morning, all! Aimee and Em and I are at Matt and Beth's and waking up slowly. What an incredible party! I had such a great time catching up with everyone although, as always, I feel like I didn't get enough time to talk to some of you.
The food was magnificent, the company wonderful, and did I mention how damned cute the kittens were?
Thank you so much for the pictures! You have both captured the joy so well. I can hear the laughter and I scroll along.
Joining the party was not an option this time, but this makes the anticipation of May's F2F so much brighter.
