Weather update (because when I said microclimates in NorCal, I wasn't kidding): after a week of perfect Indian summer weather, San Francisco is socked in with fog. Had the feeling, when I saw that whipped-cream effect from the top of Highway 35 yesterday. Luckily, it'll burn off and luckily, the chances of there being any fog at Oakland Airport are right up there with me roller-skating down K2 with a pizza on my head.
But here's hoping the night fog waits until way late tonight to come back, because a scenic night driving tour of the City is not very interesting when all you can see is fog and the top of the #$$#$ Transamerica Pyramid...

Trip to Target has been completed. Am now awaiting bathroom usage (2 sisters + 1 bathroom = Hmm. Yeah) to shower and prepare for brunch with Kristin and Drew who will be taking Joe with him for gaming, and then AIRPORT!!! AND SF!!!

Yay for lack of patience, Maidengurl! We have a few clouds here in Belmont but I can see the fog layer over the bay. I'm hoping it burns off soon but we'll have a lovely night regardless of the weather.

Main stuff either done or being set up. Me into shower. Nic's bringing up extra chairs and cleaning off patio chairs and the damned fog just rolled right back in again, damn it.

The sun is still out in Berkeley, but it doesn't matter much since I'm stuck inside at work until 5. I'm planning to head to BART from here, and skip the side trip back to my apt.
