A year and a half ago, I could have eviscerated him with my thoughts. Now I can barely hurt his feelings. Things used to be so much simpler.

Bev, Katrina posted in LJ and is awake. Call her, and then me, and then I will call -t.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

All my attending East Bay bebes, for tomorrow night:

Nic tells me they're going to be working on the ramps of the Bay Bridge tomorrow. This may turn westbound traffic on the BB into a slow crawl. Check with Caltran before taking that one; if you're anywhere near it, Highway 92 over the Bay out of Hayward, or if you're really south maybe the Dumbarton Bridge, might be a lot easier than dealing with ramp closures on the Bay Bridge.

I have made the chocolate crust for the chapeau noir. The cinnamon birthday cake is in the oven. I have very shaky legs and a very demanding kitten in my lap.

No, these are unrelated thoughts.

Oh, holy carp! How easy/difficult is it to get to your place from BART?

Beverly, if you do call, try the cell first, since we are heading out to get coffee soon.

Beverly and Katerina (sorry for mistyping it before), we are going to get coffee, then come back here. We are set to go see -t at 3:00, so we should have plenty of time to hit TJ's first.

Sparky, easy no problem: just take BART to Embarcadero, call my cell, and I'll do the quickie swing down and get you. This is not a problem, trust me.

That would be fabulous. I've got the new number, so I'll give you a call to let you know that I'll need a ride or that I'm braving the drive.

Perfect! Any idea what time that's likely? Ballpark (an hour or so either direction) would be fine.

I'd guess 6-7 p.m., Deb.

Tres cool. I'd say ring me and also Lee, just to make sure one of us knows; if I don't hear my phone, she'll hear her cell.
