I couldn't believe it the first twenty times you told us, but it's starting to sink in now.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Pros of going to the Metreon:
- some chance of Sparky1 and her DH
-Nice theater
-more choices of things to do before hand

Pros of going to San Mateo
- potentially more chance of getting decent seats
- if we go to the Metreon, we are limited by the BART/Muni schedule (I don't want to drive in downtown, though I would be happy to transport Beverly back to Deb's from San Mateo.)

What do people think?

(he has friends who are not Buffistas... who knew?)

Is that allowed?

Is that allowed?

He's had a rough week, so I'll allow it for now.

It looks like the Berkeley/Oakland theaters haven't posted what they'll be showing, yet. Slowpokes! The spokesperson for the non-buffistas is checking to see where people think they can get to after work.

Because of the aforementioned rough week, I think that the DH and I will see Serenity with this group that includes one of his good friends. We may or may not end up at the same theater, but I don't think you should base your plans on us.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

How can Serenity not be playing in Oakland? Does the ACLU know?

Fair point. How's he doing?

Does the ACLU know?

Oakland has a preference for grassroots protests, so I think the first indication will be someone shouting about it on a BART train.

How's he doing?

He's subdued, but back at work and doing okay. The Serenity outing is sort of the first outright fun he's allowing himself to have, which will be good for him, I think.

I'm glad he's doing okay. I think you are right about the fun.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Maidengurl, were you talking about picking our LAistas up at Oakland? Clarification, ma'am, please.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Yes, she meant picking us up from the airport.

I'm easy either way - but remember, I know spots in my City that are waaaaaaaay scenic.

Why don't you combine the two?
