May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Hi! It's nice to be missed.

It means I don't have to buy a bullet-proof vest just yet....

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I thought Bev (or maybe someone else) had suggested finding out if a theater might be having a late-night Thursday showing of Serenity, if it fit the schedule better. It was a pretty big "if." That's the only reason I questioned it, I wasn't sure if 1) it was possible and 2) there was that much interest in finding a showing on Thursday. I'm all for seeing Serenity with a huge group for fun and frolics, so what works best for all, works for me.

I have horrible aim, sweetie. Reason #890 why I'm glad I'm not a boy.

Oooh! Late showing of Serenity? I forgot about that. Might be a small group though since not everyone is on vacation.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I think there is going to be a midnightish showing in SF on Thursday/Friday morning, but it sounds like there are already plans made by the local FF community to make a to do about it.

Just for myself, I would vote for a thursday trip to feed the cats and have dinner somewhere down here, then a friday night expedition to Serenity.

A trip down town on Saturday sounds great, as does dinner at Angelinas on Sunday.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Perkins tres smart.

Ahem:

Aimee! Kristin!

You will be spending Saturday night at Matt and Beth's very nifty house, in their very nifty guest beds. They live in Niles, just down the road from Oakland Airport.

My thinking is, you guys ring me on my cell when you're off the plane Saturday; you take BART in to Embarcadero and I'll pick you up and show you all over the city. After the party, you get to go home with Matt and Beth, and you'll be in the East Bay for flight south Sunday.

Aimee, tell me you have a bringable car seat for mlle E, please?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I have a bringable car seat, it is well travelled.

Thank you Deb for making the arrangements. You rock. I am so excited to come up there and so grateful for Kristin who is providing travel and grateful to Matt and Beth for a place to stay (THANK YOU!!) and grateful to be seeing great friends and have great food and just...

My cup runneth over.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Alternate transportation idea. K-Bug and I could possibly give Aimee and Emma a ride from the East Bay over and play tourist too. I have a Sienna, seats 7, so lots of room.

If we are horning in, just say so and we can meet y'all just for dinner.
