It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

I believe vampires are the world's greatest golfers

Depends on Dan's schedule. If he's working Saturdays next month, it won't be possible. (Unless I bring two small children with me -- which doesn't so much allow for tattoos, drinking & karaoke.)

We shall see...

Because books.

Do you think I could safely hitchhike out there...?

I'm getting the pig!

Sits in whimpering corner with AmyLiz

The SF trip this month will eat up the rest of my vacation time *and* my vacation funds but I still wanna hang out with the peeps in MN.

If Amex was talking to me, I could donate frequent flyer miles. Alas, they hate me now....

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

By the end of today, I should have a better idea of my vacation-taking abilities, and then I will order plane tickets. (I will try my damndest to swing Friday-Monday, because having to choose between Deb's reading and the Sunday night party would be far too difficult.)

What's the time difference between NY and MSP, Jess? Is it one hour earlier, or two?

One, I think -- MN's on CST, right?

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

One, I think -- MN's on CST, right?

Correct. It's 2:18 here now.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

So, Liese, this is probably not the best weekend to come to Houston. I hope your plans are somewhat flexible...

Behind in the thread, but yup. I am not there now. I feel asleep a week ago Saturday and didn't get my ticket booked. I booked it for Monday, but we'll still have to see if the planes are flying, the dealership is open, there's gas at the stations, etc. Southwest will let me rebook my flight for anytime in the next fourteen days without penalty, so I'm figuring out when I want to try for.

We talked to the dealer, and my new van is safe and sound; they put it in storage before the storm, and being on the west side of town didn't get hit much.

So anyway, the biggest factor in rescheduling my trip? Which city I'll be in when Serenity opens.
