Mal: Then I call it a win. What's the problem? Inara: Should I start with the part where you're stranded in the middle of nowhere, or the part where you have no clothes?

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Pierce Brosnan and kneepads?

Seriously, not sure yet. I may ask for things like a big loaf or two of bakery bread, or possibly ice cream - but give me a week or two and let me get some head count.

BTW, check out the dates:

big book sale!

Also, trying to arrange a local signing that weekend - it would be at one of four local stores, if I can do it: Borderlands (with Ripley, the hairless cat, in the Mission, here in SF), Book Passage (probably the big store in Corte Madera, which BTW is ten minutes down the road from Angelino, in Sausalito), Bonanza Books in Clayton (JZ's mom's store, and one of the coolest bookstores anywhere), or M is for Mystery (Ed Kaufman's place, not far from Perkins).

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I have other plans that weekend that, if the event in question happens, will take precedence. However, the likelihood of that happening seems to change from day to day. So if it falls through...hell, I've already requested the vacation time.

Oh! Can you find Gerard Butler? Only if it isn't too much trouble.

The 3 of us could fly for just a teense over $200. According to Orbitz last night.

Aimee, are you finding similar results today?

Oh, balls. Now you people have me looking at Cincy ---> SF airfare.

Tep! Do it! Pretty please?

Depends on what kinda airfare I can find. It's been a year since I was out there last, and I'm missing it.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Yikes -- NYC-SFO is up around $350. Hopefully that'll go down by May.
