It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Fuck this crap. How much would gas cost?

Depending on the vehicle? The national debt of Ghana.

Not javachik

java, voting was open for a full four days, from Friday morning eastern time to Monday evening eastern time.

::nods head:: exactly, just a few days. Ya take 1.5 days off work (where the computer is), and zoom, voting's over. I just really like voting, that's all. Makes me feel all participatory.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's a standard b.org voting period, isn't it?

Huh - I never kept track before (I always voted straight off if I was going to vote), so it never occurred to me. Is four days short, as vote periods around here go?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

It's pretty standard - two business days, two weekend days. If you take a long weekend, it's hard, but that's pretty much how we always do it.

Good to know - I'd hate to think this one had been shorter than any others.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Fuck this crap. How much would gas cost?

A flight on Southwest is cheaper.

Not that I've looked or anything.

Nope.

Going to SF next May may be the least objectionable reason ever for not making my annual pilgrimmage to Boston.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Tep, maybe juliana will let me do some at her place at Halloween....

Mi casa es su casa. All yours, sweetie.

It looks, BTW, as though juliana has a signing/reading for Matty Groves arranged for the Friday evening before Halloween, at Once Upon A Crime, in Minneapolis

Indeed. I'll finalize with Pat tomorrow, but we're on. It's kind of cool - I used to live directly above that store. It's nice and funky, and I'm large with supporting the independent retailers.

The minute it's finalised, I see about taking up Clea Simon on her invite to do a joint signing in Boston. Hopefully, someone can offer me a bed?

Heh. Matt, as long as we do get you in SF next spring, all is good.

Aimee, how cheap is cheap?
