You know, it's funny. We went to war never looking to come back, but it's the real world I couldn't survive.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Sparky! There will be visits, and a dinner!

Nicole, please do email me. For some reason, although I'm subscribed to the lj community? It refuses to send me any updates and I have so much going on, I tend to forget to check for it.

I'm getting the pig!

Perkins! Loop Sparky in!

Seriously, Sparky. What kind of friend *is* Perkins if she can't even be bothered to loop you in on the plans?

Oh. Right. The kind of friend that's letting me take over her house sleep in her guest room. Nevermind.

Deb, insent in about a minute.

There will be pasta e fagioli!

Oh, Lord. Deb's pasta e fagioli is to die for. Standing in her kitchen and eating it on Halloween is standing out as a really strong memory of that weekend, just now.

Tep, maybe juliana will let me do some at her place at Halloween....

It looks, BTW, as though juliana has a signing/reading for Matty Groves arranged for the Friday evening before Halloween, at Once Upon A Crime, in Minneapolis.

And there's a possibility I'll do some stuff in Boston the week before, but I'll keep things posted on that.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Oooh, sounds like I should take that Friday off, then. I'd love to come to another reading. Are you going to have juliana help, again?
