I've never thrown out a book, but I have left big bags of them on the street.
F2F 3: Who's Bringing the Guacamole?
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!
I've got some books that probably should be thrown out because I've read them to tatters. But it just feels evil to toss a book in a recycling bin.

and if I (or many Buffistas, I suspect) had seen them, we would have plopped right down on the sidewalk and gone through them. :)
I donate books I don't want to the local Friends of the SF Library - whose HQ, Aimee, BTW, are right across from the marina Safeway, at Fort Mason.

WHEE!
Heh. If you stand in the parking lot of the safeway and turn your eyes to the left, you get the full Golden Gate Bridge, right there. If you turn your eyes to the right, you get not very much. If you look across the street, there's Fort Mason.
If it does end up in SF, bring a child seat and we'll shove Em in Ripper's back seat and get the Grand Tour. If it's in Seattle, we get equally amazing views of a gorgeous city from the top of Queen Anne Hill.
I'm telling you, it's a can't lose sitch.
I honestly had a hard time choosing between the two in my heart of hearts. In the end, I chose Seattle because I can drive to SF for a weekend. Seattle, NSM.
