It's a win win situation.
That would work.
Then we can we sacrifice George I and Barbara's firstborn to Baal?
Please? I'll play a guitar and sing Kumbaya.
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!

I don't think Baal likes that song...
I don't think Baal likes that song...
Sing it backwards. "Ayabmuk, m'lord, Ayabmuk..."
"Ayabmuk, m'lord, ayabmuk", with everyone chanting and dancing around the pretty fire....
And then the hotel gives us the cheap rates, and the entire pool area for Prom.
Worth a shot.
Hey, NYC-istas.
I'm gonna be in town this weekend.
I was thinking it would be nice to do a get-together-for-food-type-thing on Sunday.
However I don't know where or when.
So, we've been turned down by:
LV Hilton
Mandalay Bay
Tropicana
MGM/Mirage
Treasure Island
Bellagio
The ONE - as in SINGULAR - hotel that has responded is......
...wait for it.....
...watch Deb's head explode....
FREAKING EXCALIBUR!
::headdeskheaddeskheaddesk::
Have you tried the Aladdin and the Venetian Aimée? (I hesitate to ask about Luxor, as reservations have been voiced about the gaudyness.)
What I did was give our IFB to the Las Vegas Convention Minions and they, in turn, give it to all the Convention Arrangers at the hotels.
And to be fair....
We didn't get turned down by Mandalay. I dismissed them. They wanted 199.95/259.95/279.95 Thurs - Fri, respectively. No discounts offered for anything.
I'm pimping for San Francisco because it's the only place I'd be able to go; JavaOne is in SF the previous week, so Tom will be travelling for free, and I'm hopefully going to be meeting up with him to play in SF, and so I'm crossing fingers that the Buffistas will be overrunning the town, instead of the ones that already live there being somewhere else!
So there you go!
