There are a series of round pools at the Bellagio that have central fountains in the middle. The sun-sensitive - that would be me, with my washed-out fishbelly blue-white melanin-deprived typical redhead's flesh - can lounge in the water, in the shade of the central fountain. So nice.
edit: Blahnik at the Wynn? And Jimmy Choo at the Venetian. I just had one of my characters pop in for shoes for her own wedding.

This is me. My complexion is that of a redhead or a strawberry blond, despite my dark brown hair.
The Venetian's pool was pretty good. I prefer Mandalay's (and Monte Carlo's) cause they have one of those lazy river things that you can float around and around and around in and (IIRC) they are pretty shaded. Course, I still wear my hat and tons of sunscreen.
What are these pools you speak of? Are they anywhere near the Blackjack Tables? Oooo! Maybe that are around Star Trek: The Experience.
OH! If we are looking for Freak-Friendly Hotels, I should totally try the Las Vegas Hilton!
