Started talking to Tempe hotels today. It really is the best of what we have, being a university town.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!
The problem with staying at the Bellagio is that I would never go home. They would have to send the pack of big burly guys to physically remove me kicking and screaming. It would not be pretty.
Dude, it's Vegas...they really could do it.

How much are tickets to that show running, Laura?
Yeah, the Bellagio is very much "I am NOT LEAVING" in the level of the happiness of its guests. I just set a rock and roll wedding reception in the high rollers' suite, complete with bigtime party. I'm jonesing for the Bellagio right now, and so very much can't afford it.
I'll talk to Khaled Amr at the Ramada, as well, and see if they can come within light years of what the Holiday Inn is offering. If not, It's going to be the HI package for SF.
I'm going to the Bellagio soon, and I was already toying with the idea of extending my stay instead of heading to LA for the weekend. Hmmmm.
Bellagio is gorgeous, but I'm a Mandalay Bay girl.
Mandalay Bay
Scares me. Saw it first in the lobby at night, and it was dark and echoey. My daughter loves it, though.
I'm Bellagio-centric to the point of devotion. I love the fact that it's a hotel for adults, because I don't do things like Disneyland, and I want the eight-year-olds hangin' with the Maus, not under the keno tables.
I want to see all the new casinos in Vegas. I haven't been there in over 20 years, so much has changed it's hard to believe. Mainly, I just want to gape. And gloat. Because every single one of those honking huge hotels and casinos has our lighting systems in them. Whoot!
I know a guy who's a chef at Bouchon (in the Venetian). Don't know anything about the hotels, tho.
