F2F 3: Who's Bringing the Guacamole?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Heh. Whereas I actually prefer the 13th; I don't do holidays, and the ones I do do, I'm willing to postpone or do earlier. Hell, I actually prefer doing shit like mother's day on a different weekend, when everyone isn't queueing up for eggs benedict because of the date...

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I'm with you, Deb, but I'm guessing it would mean a lot of people couldn't make it.

Our wings are not tired.

Mother's Day means I get to do what I please, so Buffista F2F works fine. Cinco de Mayo is rather fun in these parts, so home is a good option. I'm still going to pass on voting on the date though because I have flexibility in schedule that others may not.

Mostly lurking...

I'm not sure that I'll be able to make it, but if I do, I'd rather it's not on Mother's Day weekend. My mom wouldn't tell me not to go, but since I'm the only kid around, I know she would be hurt if I went away for the weekend.

In everything is about me, though, the 20th would be most ideal since school will be over. As a matter of fact, finals end on the 19th, so it could be my celebration!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

(I was actually a little...head-tilt-y...at the lack of comment in-thread. I was watching the status page, and people were voting, but no one was saying anything. Made me go "huh".)
It turns out that this thread will drive me bugfuck. I will vote and express preferences because I would really like to be able to attend again. It's totally personal but too many of the posts just hit about every button I have, so I wait for mentions in Press about major decisions.
I saw the post in Press and assumed that the voting would be open for several days since it's the Buffista standard for voting to run for three days.
It's a dead horse but I didn't see the post till today. I generally assume (and, yeah, my bad) that if I check Press, nothing huge is going to pass me by.

Cass! Speaking of F2Fs of the less bugfuckish nature, are we still on for August? And may I bring you a nummy treat, for putting me up for the night and putting up with me? Name your nummies.

Of course. Ping my email a couple of weeks before so I can do minor things like vacuum and rewash the sheets (puppycat is, on occasion, a tunneler and sheds like mad) right before you get here.

I don't require a bribe or toll, but the lemon-y lime-y citrus-y godtheywerelikeheaven cookies would never be turned away from my home.

F2Fs don't make me bugfuck, it's just the discussions that somehow push buttons. So I figure I will only poke my head in when Press alerts me. Makes it much more likely I will actually attend and see lovely Buffistas. The people that plan these have my total respect and admiration.

Lemony goodness it shall be. And neither a bribe nor a toll - just a thanks.

That's me, except this one year, I'm handling pimpage. And yes, this thread has the capability to leave me banging my head against a desk or talking to myself, if I let it. While pimping, I try not to, though. So much easier to get a good rate from the Miyako without a dent in my face...
