A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Errr... Shouldn't we keep the runoff poll open for a few days?

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Sigh...May 6th is the weekend of G's Homecoming/Alumni events.

Thrive to spite them

I had no idea the run off vote was going to end so soon otherwise I would have voted as soon as I saw the post in Press.

The status is NOT quo.

I just voted now. Hadn't checked my computer until today.

Let's not reopen the vote.

Debetesse's post said that the runoff closed today at noon. I think that keeping the poll open looks like we're reopening because someone doesn't like the results, which I believe is bad precedent.

In principle, I agree with you, but I think leaving the poll open for only a day was a bad idea to begin with. The post in Press didn't mention the deadline, and I'd be very surprised if there aren't some people (like me) who didn't even see the announcement until the poll had closed, due to the incredibly short time limit.

I think 3 days is the absolute minimum a poll should stay open, to allow people who don't have time to log on every day to participate.
