F2F 3: Who's Bringing the Guacamole?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

JZ, I assume you have other plans on Satuday and/or Sunday?

I've been uncomfortably warm on a March trip to Boston. It could happen. t /Judy Tenuta

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't remember having been warm in the summer in SF, period.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Well, I already know that a good part of June is out for us. We're already signed up for a non-local con in the middle of the month, and we'd rather not go out of town two weekends in a row(especially not this far out of town) so the weekends before and after the con are out.

What is even happening?

The worst sunburn I've ever gotten was the result of a day at the beach in March (in Mass.), when I was in college. On the other hand, when my grandmother died in '77, on May 8th, there was snow on the ground for her funeral.

IOW, there is no planning for the weather here, at least not in detail.

And yeah Kate, don't even think of bogarting the JZ (and Teppy and flea may be in the area at the same time). We're watching you.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Seconding what ita said about SF's weather.

Also, JZ won't be here in SF while JohnSweden is here.

JZ - Jul 07, 2005 5:52:12 am PDT #3698 of 10001
See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Also, JZ won't be here in SF while JohnSweden is here.

I know. I'm seriously peeved about it, too.

I'm booked for the 5th and don't know yet about the 6th, and the days fore and aft are totally open. Is it too confusing to be talking about it here while there's actual planning for Teh Big F2F going on? Should I get myself added to the Somervillains list and take it to email?

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

And yeah Kate, don't even think of bogarting the JZ (and Teppy and flea may be in the area at the same time). We're watching you.

Everyone should come to the Valley! Seriously, it's like a smaller, more rural San Francisco. It's totally Buffista Heaven.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Going to the Miyako shortly.

ita, summer is SF's cold period. April and May tend toward rather nice, as does autumn/early winter. But these days, who knows?

Has everyone checked in from London? Everyone accounted for?

JohnSweden - Jul 07, 2005 6:44:39 am PDT #3701 of 10001
I can't even.

Also, JZ won't be here in SF while JohnSweden is here.

I know. I'm seriously peeved about it, too.

We can be peeved together, at opposite sides of the continent (again). Grump, grump. Ah well, you have fun and enjoy rarely-seen Buffistas, and I'll do the same.

t brave little toaster-face

Regarding F2F dates, June is busy for me. April/May are fine, with the exception of your Memorial Day weekend, and even that is workaroundable.
