The status is NOT quo.

I like the flexibility of that a lot.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

So do I. I can run a couple of sample possibilities from that list past the hotel book staff I interview, and see what we get back for prices.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Looks good to me, Debet. Gives us the info we need, as far as I can tell.

Not javachik

Hola, been gone for the weekend plus some. Survey dates sound good. D'land was a suggestion, after seeing blueprints and photos of hotels in Via mag; it looks like you can get a lot of hotel for a buck and D'land would be fun IMHO but it was just that - a suggestion. Bye.

Up with the sun

What should we do if we have absolutely no clue what our schedule will be like next spring, and probably won't until after the new year? Should I just not vote? 'Cause I can do that.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Lyra has put her finger on a problem. Most of us don't know our schedules this far in advance.

I'll probably vote "totally" for everything and then agonize over the tiebreaker.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I know that FAQ Wife(!) (still not used to writing that) is graduating June 8, so I won't be voting for either of the June weekends.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Felicitations to FAQ Wife! But, ouch. It will be no good to not have the FAQ-B's there. Out of consideration for you and anyone else with a graduation looming, could a later June weekend be a possibility, or is it best to stick to April/May?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

For me, it's only those first two weekends in June that are probably out.

By the way, JZ and other Bayistas, FAQ Wife highly recommends this opera. Or rather, she's a fan of John Adams and really wants people she knows to attend so that they can report back!

I have a friend who usually gets season tickets to the SF Opera; I'll check with her and see if we can work something out. Thanks for the heads-up!

BTW, I'll be in Boston this August. Will y'all be around?
