Woe to the fucking wicked.

Ok, it's almost July, so I'll get the ball rolling.

F2F 2006: West Coast 2.0

Things we need to decide:

When? (I've heard talk of "maybe a little earlier?", so) suggested possible weekends (defined by Staurday): April 22nd, 29th, May 6th, 13th, 20th, June 3rd, 10th.

Where? (All nominations should have a contact person (preferably local), so no suggestions from me)

Where 2? Hotel/Prom location (I think we need to set a strong preference for under $100 from the get-go, possibly to the point of not presenting anything with a minimum higher than that to the group[?])

When is it going to start being reasonable to expect people to have some idea of time availability, especially wrt school schedules?

I'm also putting in a plug for the "would love/will attend/will not attend" ballot, rather than a "this is my favourite".

I'm also volunteering to run the pre-planning (ie-voting, keeping track of nominations, collecting pimpage and info in one place).

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I nominate Seattle.

Also, Phoenix.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I nominate wherever I happen to be living at the time.

West Coast, darling. You moving to the West Coast?

Woe to the fucking wicked.

P-C, love, that's not super-helpful with finding hotels, unless you're going to put all of us up, which, Whoo! Party at Sunil's!

Aims, I'm calling those tentative until we have local coordinators (unless you're volunteering to do them)

If I get a job offer there, sure. First the fuckers have to call me back.

Rock on! Long live the Couch of Sin!

I say tentative. If I get a chance to call, I will and post results. But I'm not commiting.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Seattle seems to be ridiculously expensive to fly to, based on my past experience of tentatively planning vacations. Though it's probably more reasonable for West Coasters to fly up to Seattle than it is for the rest of the country.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

It's kind of expensive to fly to from SoCal, but I'm rooting pretty hard for Seattle this year, just for an excuse to finally get up and see missed and highly beloved peeps in that area, some of whom have not been seen since the LA F2F.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Is SF or San Diego cheaper?

(Seriously asking - I have no idea having never flown to either city. Or been to for that matter.)
