CHICAGO-ISTAS:
It's looking very likely that I'll be in your fair (, windy, and cold) city for training the week of January 10. Any chance of a F2F that week?
I'll be arriving Monday morning (the 10th) and leaving Friday afternoon (the 14th).

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!

Fred, where will you be staying? Downtown?
I think so, tommy. The class is on LaSalle Street, and the "official" hotel is Homewood Suites.
Looks like a nice hotel.
And yay! Fred in Chicago. We'll definitely have to make plans for a get-together.
I'm not even done with this trip and it looks like I'm going to be back in NYC in February for a few days to do a training seminar on B'way.
Also? All your VW and Emily are belong to me!
t Motions toward P-C
Argh. I got a flat tire last night, and I don't know when I'll have time to get it fixed. Hopefully someplace will be able to see me on Saturday morning, otherwise I don't think I'll be able to make it to Somerville tomorrow after all. grr. Wish me easy-fix-ma.
OH NO!!!!! I MUST NOT BE DENIED MY KATE!
I'm sure you can find a tire place open on Saturday. These things exist, don't worry!
ETA: check Goodyear- [link]
Cereal to add that there appears to be a Goodyear in Hartford (306 Market Street), Wethersfield (1020 Silas Dean Hwy), and Vernon (right off 84 at Kelly Road And Vernon Circle) They all have websites linked to from the goodyear.com site (when you do a location search on ZIP codes) and they are all open on Saturday, starting at 7:00am.
Other F2Fness: One of my cousins is getting married in the OC at the end of January (I'm pretty sure Saturday the 22nd). I don't know if Hec will be there, but I definitely will; however, I've never met her fiance or his family, and all their friends are fundies who regard Papists with beady-eyed suspicion, so despite her kindness in inviting me I'm really rather wary of doing any weddingy stuff besides the actual wedding. Would any LAistas be up for either meals or slounging about or both on either Friday or Sunday? Profile addy's good.
