They also had a difference engine.
That technology exhibit is incredibly cool. They've got an Enigma! Several of them! A three-wheel and a four-wheel! Though the "Discover the Internet!" section needs some major work. (Or, y'know, an internet connection that actually works.)
Oh, and one of the displays talks about actuaries.

Where is this actuary exhibit? Do they also have an exhibit on the history of paint drying?
Hee. My assistant's fiance is a chemical engineer, and her job could literally be summed up as watching paint dry.
It's not an entire exhibit. Rather part of the information age exhibit has a display that includes adding machines and the like and actuaries are mentioned.
Where is this exhibit?
American History Museum. I figured I needed to see that place before we outlawed it.
