"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh, btw, just popping in to say that I will be making my semi-annual swing easterly, so I may be in and/or through KC, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Columbus, Cinci, and possibly some other places as well, this summer. I'd love to see Buffistas whilst in populated areas, so let me know if any midwesterners want to get together. I'll post my schedule info later, but we'll be through KC a couple of times late this month, in Indy most of the time, and through Cinci in mid-June.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I suppose I should call the hotel and tell them I'm arriving after midnight on Thursday evening, right?

Our wings are not tired.

I would Tom.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I need a list of "must ingest" food items for New Orleans.

So far we're at:

Po'boys
Jambalaya
Crawdads
Begniets

Anything else?

Gumbo

That drink with the cucumber garnish. It'll come to me.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

-t, Pimm's cup, I think.

Definitely have an afternoon drink at Napoleon House.

If you make it to Commander's Palace, bread pudding souffle with bourbon sauce.

Commander's Palace is out of the budget -- we need to go low rent (which is the best Southern food anyway).
