there could maybe be pictures . . .
W00T!
(Although not as nice as being able to answer the question "Hey Sean, how did you get all that glitter on your face?" with a sighing smile and saying "Vortex," pictures are an acceptable substitute.)
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!

Ohhh...that reminds me. Glitter is great, but I was going to request that there not be full-fledged glitter wars at the Prom--the hotel is a little touchy about "damages" for one thing, but I've also had a couple of people ping me quietly with concerns about very expensive cleaning bills they had to pay on their garb last year. Maybe glitter by invitation?
We did go a little crazy with the glitter last year, didn't we?
To be honest, it didn't bother me--I'm just relaying concerns.
I plan on wearing a full black suit to Commander's Palace, complete with spiffy silver silk shirt and tie. Since dancing is likely at the prom, I figured I'd get a little less dressy, maybe my Evanston f2f Friday night social shirt that's similar to Tom's titanium suit in color. Think wearing the pettable black velvet pants with that would be a good idea?
For days and probably Sunday night, I'm planning on slobwear - comfy shorts and drip-dry rayon shirts.
drip-dry rayon shirts
Carefully coordinated with DX's, I hope.
Tom's titanium suit
??? How could I have missed this?
I am so not a girly girl sometimes. I haven't given a thought as to what I'll be wearing. Brendon was going to get a kilt, but he waited too long to order since he is not exactly off the rack.
I promise to start thinking about what to wear, soon.
I'll be bringing kilts. I own 5 of them now and I just ordered a 6th one tonight, though I won't see it for at least 4 or 5 weeks. Now that I think of it that's enough kilts that I might not need to bring pants. Though I'll probably wear pants for the flights in and out, I don't even want to try to deal with the TSA in a kilt.
Think wearing the pettable black velvet pants with that would be a good idea?
Is that an actual question?
I won't be there on Sat. (SOB) but I have something set up to wear on Friday night that I'm dying to display.
