Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

F2F 3: Who's Bringing the Guacamole?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Hil and I will be bunking together. We may have a semi-lurker third if she can get a ticket. A fourth would be groovy.

IOW,

Two (possibly 3) HAWT Buffista Babzes want 2 sleep with U!!!!

Any takers?

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

It looks like I may be heading to the Seattle area and northern Oregon in early June. If anyone is interested in meeting, let me know.

Our wings are not tired.

Yes!!!! This F2F is getting more foamy by the moment.

edit to add my post office rant. I got mail today from me addressed to NoiseDesign. No return to sender stamp or any such silliness. I followed the mailman and asked him what was up. He looked at it and didn't see anything wrong. It was bar coded by the post office with my zip code at the bottom. Apparently the automatic machines picked up my return address label instead of the handwritten desired address. He said he would black out the bad coding and send it again. WTF!!! ND - if you don't get it by the end of the week I'll just paypal. I am mad at paypal so I didn't want to give them a %. Stupid post office.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Yay for Trudy and Hil and possible lurker! Be sure to call Marvin directly to get that reduced rate, ladies.

Also, -t, are you still planning to collect travel info? If you're too hectic, I'd be happy to do so. It might be easier since I have to coordinate with the hotel as well. Either way, we should probably start getting people to send their info in soon.

I'm thinking this year we really only need basics considering the fact there is a shuttle between the airport and the hotel:

  • Board Name/Real Name/Call me:____
  • day of arrival
  • day of departure
  • method of transportation (driving/flying/training)
  • staying at the hotel? Y/N
  • cell phone number

Sound okay?

(Edited for tommyrot's suggestion)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

method of transportation (driving/flying)

Or, in my case, a choo-choo.

Okay, now I'm REALLY sad that Miracleborns can make it, and yet I cannot.

And here I thought I couldn't get any sadder about not getting to meet Heather, and hang with all the other groovy people I've met before.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Hmm. There must be a way for the Empress to bring a house boy with her. The princess really should have an entourage.

I can't even.

JohnSweden! Book your ticket to NO! You're coming!

Ah, thanks Aimee. I live to serve, as you know and very few things would make me happier than being able to get to the F2F, but there ain't nothin' but tumbleweeds and crickets in my piggy bank right now.

Them powers are good stuff but I'll have to puff puff pass the f2f-ma this time. Maybe the -ma will land on someone waffling and make them attend!
