Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

My last Amtrak trip I would drink vodka tonics in my room while I watched Buffy DVDs.

Now that's traveling in style.

Yes, indeed. I'm ready for another, anytime. Well, as long as the plastic doesn't start squealing too loud.

I think one of the funniest moments was when we were at the Italian restaurant and you rather graphically described what you wanted to do the first time you saw Spike on Buffy. The look from the man behind you was comedy gold. And he kept on stealing looks at you the rest of the way through dinner.

OMG! I'm so glad I didn't know that! But, then, I can so tune out the environment around me or I probably wouldn't have made such a graphic comment. I'm assuming it was graphic, I don't remember anymore. That wasn't the (please cover the eyes of small children for the adult portion of the program) "ride him 'til his balls shine" crack, was it? I thought I saved that for the hotel room. Hee.

That was the exact crack. Hee!

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Suddenly I feel better about breakfast last Saturday with my new critique group, when I merely shoved my (large) breasts up near my collarbone to demonstrate what corsets did to allow women to achieve the proper Regency body shape. I think the men at the next table were...bemused.

Susan, we should take our show on the road, we'd make millions if we charged for it.

I'm sure we all missed a lot. There was too much going on at one time.

I'm betting as soon as we give her a couple of drinks next time she's here, she'll repeat it (or something equally entertaining) in a public place.

eta: Also in a restaurant. Ah, Susan. One of us. Hee!
