That sucks, Kalshane. I have been sniffly and sore throated too, so I may join you in the quarantine zone, if you feel up to it. If not, I am sure I will see you on my next trip out here.
F2F 3: Who's Bringing the Guacamole?
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!
It comes and goes. When I woke up this morning (or more specifically, when I got out of bed. I didn't really sleep much last night, even with the help of NyQuil) I felt absolutely miserable. Right now I'm not too bad, though not great. Definitely going to pick up a bottle of DayQuil on my lunch break, though, since the bottle at home only had two doses left this morning.
I hope you feel better soon.
Thanks. You too, since it sounds like you have something similar.
I've unfortunately contracted a nasty sore throat so I don't know if I'm going to be able to make it tonight.
Cajun food will be good for you.
No mere cold virus can stand up to Cajun spices.
The super hot food is great for nasal congestion, but having stubbornly eaten K-Paul's jambalaya with a flu-induced sore throat I wouldn't recommend it until the throat scratchiness is gone. Maybe po-boys or some other milder food option?
Yeah, no real congestion. Just sore throat and occaisional sniffles, plus coughing and feeling somewhat out of it (though how much is the cold and how much is the lack of sleep I'm not sure.)
I had a friend swear to me that the best thing to eat with a cold is hot and sour soup. Not so much.

When I have a sore throat, Tom Yum chicken soup works wonders for me. Tom Yum is similar to hot and sour, I think.
They have mild spices, too. There will be something for Kalshane.
