Where are you going, Tommy?
Houston, for a class. Leaving Sunday and getting back Wednesday.
Hopefully I'll get to see Dana for dinner one night.
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!

tommy, i thought you were packing for two months in Europe.
I'd probably do the same thing. It's amazing how much stuff is absolutely necessary these days.
Have fun, Tommyrot.
Me too, Rio.

I thought he was joining the Foreign Legion!
Well, I dislike flying. I've never watched DVDs on a plane before so I'm hoping that will help. And our Hotel is way the fuck on the edge of Houston and I won't have a car, so I'll pro'lly need the iBook to amuse me in the hotel too.
Pro'lly won't need the cellphone, except in case plans change. Camera is in case I see Dana....
Have fun, Tommyrot.
Thanks. When are you leaving? Chicago is the first on your itinerary, right? Or are you going right back to LA from Chicago?
I leave Friday for Denver, then Chicago, then Ohio, then fly out of Chicago again.
Oh, I checked my hotel:
Voice mail and data ports in all guest rooms.
Wtf is a data port? Does this mean a regular network connection? Or a phone line for a modem?
I'm in the midst of packing for my departure to Toronto in the morning. There's a lot of folks travelling.
What am I forgetting, you guys?!
A data port is a separate line for a modem. What hotel are you staying at? Most major chains have at least hi-speed in some of the rooms.
