Oh, Jaleo!
I've been eh about Jaleo for a while. Can be good, but always crowded. Zaytinya is bigger, and does large groups better.
ETA: although, now that I think about it, the last time i was there (with meara and ND), it was pretty good. But, still small.
Zaytinya is also excellent, so I'd be up for that as well. (And besides, I've been there less than Jaleo, so there's a bit of the allure of the new.)
If we're gonna do something in DC proper, can it be Metro accessible?
I'd rather not drive(or have G drive) in DC on a Friday night. Also, directions would help, but that can go to e-mail.
I am putty in your hands.
t goes to happy place at being putty in the hands of the DCistas
I've been to Jaleo. I liked it a lot. But it was very crowded when I was there, from what I remember of it. There was a LOT of wine consumed while waiting for our table.
You've got to be kidding me. Kristin, I'll be in Atlanta that weekend, unless plans change (which is a small but distinct possibility).
Seconding the Zaytinya rec. ND, Vortex, Hil and I had a wonderful lunch there. The menu has a little something for everyone.

Zaytinya is across the street from Gallery Place.
Okay, am I hearing a general consensus for a Zaytinya dinner on Friday, March 11? If so, what time is good? 7?
