Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Going back a bit, Dulles no longer has the "sandcrawlers". They are in the process of putting in trams(like Atlanta, I guess), but for now there are people-movers and a lot of walking to get to the terminals.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Hm. I wonder if I can sneak away to MI next weekend. Must ponder.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Yes! You can! And juggle geese! Or whatever it was that you were doing.

I lurve the light tunnel at O'hare. I like to dance in it.

Admittedly, this habit started when I was little, so...

I tend to prefer flightless waterfowl for juggling. My weekend plans will be dependent on other people getting things done (and done well enough) during the week. It will have to be a last-minute thing if it happens.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

'Tis true. I've seen Liese in the O'Hare light tunnel.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

aurelia, I'm taking Friday off to drive over. If you can get the day off or off early, we can carpool. Also, my aunt has a four bedroom house, we may be able to scam at least two bedrooms out of her (if you don't mind cat hair and cigarette smoke, she's a heavy smoker), so it's possible I can offer you a place to stay. If not, we'll have at least one bedroom and I can crash on the daybed in the living room. Does this help with your pondering?

Sail, thanks for the offer. I've got a good friend in Ann Arbor who'd probably let me crash there, so that's not really an issue. I mostly need to figure out if I can talk people into letting me bump the hour or so of work I'd be doing on Saturday to Sunday (which probably means I'd need to return before you).

It's all good, aurelia. I just hope you can get the time to come out. It would be nice to meet you sometime. Of course, all I really need to do is pop in to any of the Chicagoista get togethers to do that, the timing just hasn't been right so far.
