More silly questions about ripping DVDs: My Best of Siouxsie and the Banshees DVD is Region 0. I can *watch* it on the faithful PowerBook, no problem. But when I open it up in Handbrake or Instant Handbrake, the only chapters either of those two applications show are the copyright blurb and the Universal logo. No chapters with the actual music videos. Help?

I have a minor problem that is driving me nuts. I accidentally entered a wrong user name at Gmail, got the login failure corrected, and entered fine. Now every time I go to gmail, the login box gives me a choice of two username, the right one and the wrong one:
I 've done the following -
1) checked out stored passwords in Firefox - could not find anything for gmail.
2) Eliminated all google, and gmail cookies via firefox
3) type in command box in xp: rundll32.exe keymgr.dll, KRShowKeyMgr - found no stored passwords.
So where are these "default" login names being stored, and how do I get rid of the one I don't want
TB, that looks like you need to uncheck "Remember what I've enter in forms and the search bar" on your privacy tab of Options.
It should be even easier. Just scroll down the list of stored data in the form entry box until the bad user name is highlighted, and hit [shift][delete].
Thanks. That did it. *shift* delete.
I had tried plain "delete".
What software do people here use to manage their images? I feel weird asking this, since content management is (used to be) my gig, but I have no idea how to work at a one PC level.
Picasa? What else is out there?
I use iPhoto for my cataloging. I'm thinking about trying Aperture but haven't had a chance to buy it yet.
Last week, I dropped my Treo taking it out of my purse, and ever since, it's had problems charging. It doesn't seem to matter if it's sitting in the cradle or plugged directly into the wall, but the battery's been running down WAY faster than usual, and about half the time, it just refuses to charge. (The light will be on and it will say "charging" but the battery indicator won't move.)
Has anyone else had and solved this problem? I can buy a new battery, but I don't know if it would help. I bought the phone on eBay, so there is no warranty.
I tried Picasa, and it choked cataloging.
Most of my pics aren't on my Mac box, so I've never even thought of iPhoto. If I get off my ass and get external storage, though, it might be an idea.
It does okay for me. I only use it for my own photographs, not for stuff I've downloaded, but there are a few thousand photos in it now and it seems to be handling them okay.
