Buffistechnology 2: You Made Her So She Growls?
Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!
I don't have voice mail, tommyrot, FWIW.
I have a TV (that's about 8 years old) that is spontaneously turning off. Does anyone know what the problem might be with the tv?
If you're still interested... I had to have the tuner replaced in mine. It sounds like you might have a similar problem.

Nope. "refresh" in C# has to do with refreshing the files in the C# project.
Um, aren't there two ways of inserting an object into HTML? Or maybe I'm thinking of something else. Anyway, here's how I insert a C# object into HTML:
<object id="Label1" name="Label1" height="24" width="180" classid="Label.dll#aLabel.Frm1" viewastext></object>
aurelia,
the tuner needed to be replaced, huh? Well. I might think about that as an option. About how much does such a thing cost?
I wish they'd get cheaper, though.
le nubian, I got a rebuilt one installed for around $70. It's been working for four years now, so it was worthwhile.

Gah! That was the answer. I was looking in the wrong part of the help system, apparantly.
Thanks Daniel (and tommyrot). The addition to the dialing string seems to have done the trick. Whoot!
