I want to torture you. I used to love it, and it's been a long time. I mean, the last time I tortured someone, they didn't even have chainsaws.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Yeah, it's trying to reconcile what it interprets as two different requests, I think.

Which reminds me that I have to go check through my own Season Passes....

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The new version of Firefox will alert users when they go to a known fraudulant site.

There's also good news for Mom: Firefox 2.0 has some really great anti-phishing measures built in. Look at what happened when I clicked on a PayPal "update your account" email link (click to enlarge):

The above link details other cool new features....

What instant messenger program do y'all recommend as a catch-all (specifically for MSN messenger and AIM) for Windows? Was using Adium on the Mac, just got a work (windows) laptop to use while mine is being fixed, and want to know what program to get...

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I hear good things about Trillian.

I don't use it myself, though. Don't need any other clients for work and don't run Windows at home.

Edit: Exact X-Post

I also use Trillian at work.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Gaim or Miranda. Trillian's too bloated these days for my tastes.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I shelled out for Trillian a year or so ago. I do like it, but I have to admit I like Adium more, and I usually IM from my Mac these days.

I forgot that Gaim can run on Windows. Go team GTK.
