Angel: Connor, this is Spike and Illyria. Guys, this is Connor. Connor: Hi. umm...I like your outfit. Illyria: Your body warms. This one is lusting after me. Connor: Oh...no, I--I--it's just that it's the outfit. I guess I've had a thing for older women. Angel: They were supposed to fix that.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Nebbermind-- I misread the question.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

PC, Tommy.

Oh.

(There's that iTunes Applescript site that has a script that would address your second issue, but that's obviously Mac-only.)

Hey. New board.

Is there an easy way to have iTunes find the music without reconsolidating the entire library?

Assuming you're using "reconsolidating" the way they do (meaning, it copies all of the files to your iTunes music directory and so forth) then I think yes. Just drag any folders that your music is hanging out onto your iTunes library - assuming you don't have "Copy to iTunes Music Folder" set in your settings (or if the files are already in your iTunes music folder), then this will add any files it doesn't already have in there to the database. It won't duplicate.

This shouldn't take too long - it can add my entire many-GB collection in about 10 minutes as long as it's not trying to copy the files, and when only a few files are new, it is much faster.

I will give that a try, Gris, just as soon as the artwork searching gets finished (I have nearly 30,000 songs and over 3000 albums, so it's been going for several hours now).

I've found I can select individual albums and then have iTunes find artwork (seems to be successfull half the time) but I've yet to figure out how to get it to search my entire collection and grab all the artwork at once....

ta: OK, now iTunes has decided to find a bunch of artwork. Why, I don't know....

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Does anyone know of a reasonably priced web designer that could put together a site for my author mom similar to Deb Grabien's in execution, if not design? I don't have the time or the expertise to do it, and I'm looking for someone who does.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

SA, I think I could do that. It doesn't look too complex.
