If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

So, an actual, physical switch? I couldn't find anything softwarey even using that term.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Could be. Depends on the laptop. My brother's Toshiba has a hard button toggle for WiFi power, with an LED indicator, in addition to an icon in the taskbar that is a shortcut to the WiFi controlling application.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

2 questions-- one of my imacs (indigo with CD drive) has completely stopped turning on. Is there any chance of it spontaneously healing?

My other imac (Ruby DV edition) seems to have "lost" some of it's memory. That is, is used to work fine but now I cannot have the internet and internet dialer open at the same time because I so not have enough system memory. Is it possible that putting more memory in will fix this? I had been using it to play DVD's only, but with the death of the blue computer, I want to go on-line. Perhaps it might be possible to take some of the memory from the blue and put it in the red?

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

if my new laptop says

What kind is it? With my Dell, I have to hit the function key + f8 or something for the wireless card to be enabled. But it doesn't sound like that's the problem if it sees and connects to your network. It could just be that there are no other wireless networks in your immediate area, which, while unlikely, is a possibility.

Okay, found the switch (thanks!) and it claims to be all connected, but still won't let me access the internets. Sigh. Have to play with it some more after I get home from work.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Jobs is doing his thing again: bigger-capacity (60 or 80 GB) iPods, longer video playback time, brighter screen, games (sold through iTunes store), search? Or maybe just quicker scrolling by letter (the updates sites conflict); Nanos in metallic colors like the mini, thinner (how is this possible?), 2/4/8GB storage, better battery life...

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Ooh. My 60 Gig iPod has less than a Gig free. Good timing.

hip deep in pie

What I want in my iPod is more interlinks. Im listening on shuffle and the Smiths come on, I want to be able to clink on the artist or the album and go to the other songs from same.

... 2nd gen iPod Shuffles: 1GB only, reduced price, aluminum body. Approx the size of a tic-tac.

No word of the kind of full-screen video iPod that the rumors have hinted at.

New iTunes version, with sub-libraries by media type, different arrangement of source lists. (This will make my life easier at work. Personally, don't much care). Different views in iTunes, visual search by cover art...

NFL games in store. Free cover art in store.

640x480 video!!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Approx the size of a tic-tac

Must be fiddly as hell on the controls.
