Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

This looks purty.

I've never been tempted by a Blackberry for myself before--perhaps because I have a love-hate relationship with my work device.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'd like to put some of the music that my mother's chorus has recorded onto their website. However, I have no idea what the copyright issues are, or what might constitute fair use. They did pay royalties to record it -- does anyone know what the guidlines are for posting on a site? Or even where I could begin to look online?

Anyone use LightScribe technology? I needed a new DVD burner, and the one that came recommended and that fit my desktop had LightScribe. Haven't installed it yet. I wonder if the Scribed DVDs have any reliability issues.

Our wings are not tired

This is a question for those of you who have been flying since the latest upgrade in security. Any big problems with electronic equipment on domestic flights? I'm heading out to Indiana on Sunday to run a training class and I travel with two laptop, hard drives, electronic tools, etc. I've been fine up to this poing, just making sure there are no new gotchas I should know about.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

On my flight from Nashville to Chicago, I had two laptops, two spare hard drives, a digital camera, an ipod, a pda, and an entire dopp kit of cords and stuff. I got through without any issues whatsoever, minus the normal ones of taking out your laptop(s) to go through the xray machine.

Thrive to spite them

TSA hasn't issued any restrictions on electronic equipment so no one should be giving you a hard time.

Excellent. That's what I wanted to know.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

digital receiver

Thanks, Plei.

I eventually did find a few models of DTV tuners/receivers, recorders, and combinations, but the prices (even used) are too high to suit. I think I'm going to hold off on the whole DTV thing until I can afford to subscribe to cable again.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Do we all know about the Amazon Unbox thingie? [link]

How long before someone writes an applet to remove the copy protection and allow burning to a DVD?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

The Unbox Video player is not compatible with Apple/Macintosh operating systems

Silly people.
