Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I hate leet speak. If I tried I could probably come up with ratoinal reasons for that hatred, but I don't think I'll bother.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

So I guess it's a compliment then.

Thanks, Geeks!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I think if you just right-click on a duplicate entry, the pop-up menu has a delete option. This is the sucky, one song at a time method, but I think that would work.

There's also a thing you can click - in tools, maybe? - that will pull up all duplicate files. (I just did all this stuff this morning and last night, oddly enough.)

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Does anyone here speak leet? I just got the following comment on my youtube video

Speaking of youtube, Jon, have you seen "The Simpsons vs Star Trek"? [link]

It combines two of your interests (at least) in one video.

OMG! That guy has quite an impressive little collection of old, odd and obscure electronic instruments. Anyone more knowledgable than I want to take a stab at what's in there?

Yessss.... Everyone's been telling me about it. He appears to be hand-synching (like lip-synching with his hands) along to the theremin. As opposed to moi, who recorded live in one take. IJS.

With minor technical glitch included at the beginning to prove it.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Verily, thou doth disgrace the amatuers, for thine skills hath no parallel. Huzzah!

Or, more simply, "You kick ass."

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

BTW, I love google desktop - it has saved my life a lot of times. It searches in a different way for some things. For other things I need to use regular windows search.

Don't enable the feature to search across computers. But it will search your gmail (and other email) along with all other files on your computer unless you specify a folder to skip.
