No, I didn't feel like you were attacking me. Sorry if I implied that. I just saw 1998, and thought "that can't be right." When I looked at the linked page, it said 1990, which made more sense to me.

Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!
Psst. Daniel, you did it again.
I blame glucose.
Does anyone know if it's possible to check a login record in gmail? Several new e-mails of mine were "read" yesterday while I was napping, and I'm a little worried that my account has been hijacked.
vw, I don't think so, but can you change your password as a precaution?
Yeah, I already did that.
VW, is it possible that you logged in at a public terminal and it stayed logged in for the next person?
I blame Toto.
But really, if you changed your password you should be safe.
Okay, I have a basic question. If I get a bluetooth cell phone. How do I connect it to my PC? Like what do I need? I'm leaning toward a Nokia or Motorola phone right now and I think with Motorolas you need an adapter and Motorola Phone Tools. Is that right?
I have a Dell Latitude D600. This is most likely the computer I'll be using.
Next, where is the best place to buy tools and adapter?
I think with Motorolas you need an adapter and Motorola Phone Tools. Is that right?
Not for Bluetooth connections, no. Basically Windows and the phone OS will allow you to set the phone discoverable, have Windows search for Bluetooth devices, and then you create a PIN you type into both devices and then they're linked.
