Bah. I finally pulled the drives and sticks out of my old machine, and the old memory is indeed not compatable with the new machine. Oh well, I've almost doubled my drive space, though. Nice.

Anyone know how I can use iChat on my Mac to chat with someone's Googletalk account? It's theoretically possible, according to Google, but I'm having a hard time figuring it out.

You log in using the Jabber protocol, but I can't remember what other services you can use with Jabber to log in with.

It has to be a fairly new iChat to work. At least, I know I've used a version of iChat that didn't use Jabber. 3.1.4 works easy peasy.
