Coding and Sleeping

The photographer needs to burn a ISO format CD with Joliet extensions for reading on Windows computers with long file names and everything.

Oh and like Tommy said, close the session. That actually sounds more likely. I was thinking HFS vs. ISO, but if there is a Windows laptop that reads it, then it's not that.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Does anyone know of an adapter set that will allow you to use a regular keyboard wirelessly? I'm googling but so far all I can find is an IR adapter for PDAs. My issue is that I need a really good adapted keyboard for my disability - a normal wireless keyboard would really hurt.

I do indeed have a pair of Shur EC2 (I think) at home that I hated and won't wear. I've given up on listening to the iPod on the plane because the plane is too loud and the Shurs were so uncomfortable. I also have some hearing loss so I'm afraid to go too loud anyway...

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Alas, I am too impatient and so I went ahead and ordered. Sorry 'bout that. We'll see how it works; I'm reasonably earplug-tolerant.

Consuela, I just sent you mail about the Schur earbuds.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Hi guys -- I found this via Dealram, and it looks suspiciously cheap to me. Can anyone tell me what's wrong with it?

(Also, it says "for 1.8Ghz models" -- mine's a dual 2Ghz, is that going to matter?)

All is well that ends in pizza.

That is very cheap.

Like $50-$90 cheaper than other sites.

What kind of system do you have?

Yeah, which is why I'm suspicious, especially since it's not listed as a promotional/clearance price. I've got a dual 2Ghz PowerMac G5 (not Intel, about a year old). The RAM that came with it is PC3200.

I think I'll play it safe and just order from OWC.
