Well, we may not have parted on the best of terms. I realize certain words were exchanged. Also, certain... bullets. But that's air through the engine. It's past. We're business people.

Don't go ruining my pettiness with your salient points....

Sean, can I tag this? It just made me snort.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I bought a new watch today. [link] I've looked at my wrist more in the last 6 hours than I have in the last several years.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Very cool, aurelia.

Just got this from weaknees...

TiVo won't sell Lifetime Service soon

Starting next week (we’re hearing March 15th), TiVo will no longer offer subscribers the ability to pay a one-time $299 product lifetime fee for standalone TiVo DVRs and DVD combo DVRs.

Buy a TiVo now with Lifetime service and get these benefits!

* $299 lifetime value stays with the unit - even if you sell the box * $299 equates to 23 months of service - after that, your service is essentially free! * Never pay another monthly TiVo service fee * Monthly service prices could even increase (they have before) * We will email your TiVo Service Number to ensure that you can purchase the lifetime service before the 15th

This is a big change for those who love TiVo. If you think that you (or a friend, family member) would prefer to pay a one-time fee for the TiVo service, now is the time to purchase another box!

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Quick formatting question;

I've been having some trouble with accent aigu on LJ, where it apparently uses Unicode. I'd type "é" (I usually get that from copying and pasting from the Character Map) and it'd stay "é" for a while, then after a bit, it'd invariably change to "?A9", which is very annoying. Anything I could do to fix this?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You can type é instead. It'll never do you wrong.

Woo! Worked like a charm. Thanks!

Coding and Sleeping

So the lifetime service goes with the unit. Does that mean all the lifetime services become moot in 2009 when analog tv service is supposed to end?
