I never actually use my land line. I really just wanted something where people could leave messages for me and I'd get them via email. So, hopefullly, this will work out. I was paying way too much for a phone I wasn't using.
Current or former Konfabulator users:
I really like this, especially because I've become accustomed to the Dashboard on my work computer. But unlike Dashboard, I can't seem to make Konfab disappear completely--if I min all my windows, it's still there, on the desktop. This is screwing with my head, because I like to see the picture on my desktop; it gives me zen. Is there anyway to make it disappear completely, and only come when I command?
If I could fix it myself, I sure would. I hate the disposable society we have. I don't want to add more to the landfill.
hmmmm.... What's wrong with it again?
heh.
ETA: Signed, inveterate tinkerer.
Aw, it's too late. I already mailed it in to Konica and I don't think they're going to mail it back unless I pay (although they haven't commenced working on it yet). Plus it'd need parts. They say "Repair to factory specs, repair zoom lens, replace front cover and LCD."
Ah well.
Is $107 a good price for Apple OSX v10.4 "Tiger"?
Are they going to come out with an even spiffier newer OS this summer/soon?

It lists for $129, so yes.

They'll be announcing the next version in June. It won't come out until late fall at the earliest.
I'm looking at this deal on a Western Digital 320GB Serial ATA hard drive: [link]
At the bottom, it says, IMPORTANT: Because of the time-limited error recovery feature, this product is intended for server applications and is not recommended for use in desktop systems.
Wazzat mean?

It's not meant to play back multimedia?
